Prāna Chandra: Full Moon Solstice Celebration

The enchanting night of the summer solstice this year, a Lunar and Solar Harmony Celebration, is a convergence of two celestial events: the full moon's luminescence and the longest day of the year. This unique union invites a deeper exploration of the Tantra and Ayurveda teachings on Shiva and Shakti, the male and female energies, symbolized by the sun and moon. The summer solstice is a time of light, abundance, and the zenith of nature's bounty, while the full moon complements this radiance with its serene, reflective glow, encouraging introspection and renewal.

This celebration is a homage to the balance and union of opposites—the fiery, life-giving power of the sun meeting the soothing, reflective light of the moon. It represents a perfect moment to honor the dynamic balance within us and in the natural world. Through guided practices, meditation, and community rituals rooted in ancient wisdom, participants will engage with the energies of Shiva and Shakti, seeking harmony and a deeper understanding of the universe's dual nature.

The summer solstice full moon magnifies the potential for personal growth and spiritual awakening. It is a potent time for setting intentions, releasing old patterns, and embracing new beginnings. This celebration will offer a space for this transformation, guided by the esteemed Vaidya Satyajith Kadkol, who teaches us with his wisdom and compassion to navigate the complexities of life with grace and intelligence. The event will also feature live mantric music and meditation with ragas to enrich the experience.

This gathering is an open invitation to all who wish to celebrate the unity of light and darkness, masculine and feminine, activity and stillness. It's an opportunity to connect with the natural rhythms of the earth and sky, to reflect on our place within this vast cosmos, and to cultivate a sense of oneness with all that is. Join us for this luminous night of joy, healing, and celestial harmony on the summer solstice, and let the magic of the full moon illuminate your path.
